90s YouTube Clip: Buffalo Bills Legend Bruce Smith Passes Out

9 Dec

Ok, obviously there’s nothing funny about someone passing out. But there is something funny about this video. A few somethings, actually.

My personal highlights:

1. Bruce Smith smiling despite his eyes showing he had been “checked-out” at :16 secs.

2. Smith looking possessed on the way down.

3. Smith keeping his hands in his pockets all the way down.

4. Complete jerk Trev Albert continuing to run his mouth despite Smith’s possible death.

Bill Cosby Acting Up on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno

30 Nov

I love how being old gives you the freedom to do and say whatever you want. Or maybe you have to be a legend, not just old.

Either way, Bill Cosby qualifies and he takes advantage by harassing Leno’s band and possibly offending the lead keyboard player. Kevin Eubanks wouldn’t have stood for this.

Check out the rest of Bill Cosby on the Tonight Show at Comedy Central Insider.

Dr. Cosby will also be on tour in 2011, check out the schedule here. Hopefully he’s not still berating unfit black parents… or hopefully he is?

Do the White Thing: Great Moments in Whiteface History

15 Nov

After every Halloween the internet is flooded with stories and photos of white people dressed in blackface. A brief look into American history explains why 99% of the time this is a horrible idea and  extremely offensive.

There are a few examples of blackface being done in a somewhat acceptable manner (see: Tropic Thunder – even that was cringe-worthy at times), but overall it’s a great way to stumble into an ass-whooping.

“Whiteface” on the other hand is generally hilarious (as it has the luxury of having no shameful history), so after the jump check out our list of Great Moments in “Whiteface” History.
