Black Dynamite Graphic Novel and Animated Series Preview at NY Comic Con

Don’t miss BLACK DYNAMITE: SLAVE ISLAND, the new graphic novel from Ars Nova and
Ape Entertainment. Preview book debut at New York Comic Con, October 2010.

We’ll also be previewing the new Black Dynamite Animated Series on [adult swim] at New York Comic Con on October 9. Show is Exec Produced by Carl Jones (The Boondocks).

They hinted at this in our interview with the Black Dynamite creators, glad to see it finally going down.


Steve Urkel Then & Now

Then: Jaleel White speaks on his role as Steve Urkel, of the 90’s hit TV series, Family Matters. (video after the jump, plays on load)

Now: Jaleel is writing and directing a couple webisodes. His most recent, Fake It Till You Make It, is about a former child star who consults hollywood hopefuls in making it big.

Dave Chappelle is “THE JOKER”

KING Magazine commissioned illustrator James Jean to create a comic based on comedian Dave Chappelle’s career. The Joker, covers Chapplle’s career from the success of The Chapplle Show to the 50 million deal with Comedy Central that nearly ended his career- in comics form.
