Here’s my attempt of killing two birds with one stone. A little bit of news and a little bit of randomness.
News first.
If you haven’t heard, pre-production for a Richard Pryor biopic is well underway. The film, fondly titled, “Richard Pryor: Is it Something I Said” was suppose to star Eddie Murphy as Richard Pryor. However, Murphy has dropped out of the project giving young Marlon Wayans the opportunity to snatch the role.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Wayans gave quite an impressive 13-minute screen test. As of now, the role of Pryor is still up for grabs, although it has been strongly suggested Wayans will be casted as Richard Pryor.
