You might know her from “The View”, or Angie from “30 Rock”, either way Sherri Shepherd is moving up. Lifetime, the anti-ESPN, has picked up 12 episodes of her new self-titled show, “Sherri”.

“Sherri” centers around a newly single mom, paralegal and part-time comedian/actress who tries to get back into the dating scene and move on with her life after divorcing her cheating husband. Sherri finds solace and support among her girlfriends at the office while juggling her hectic life.

No news to when “Sherri” airs, but if it’s any consolation, “Sherri” will be the first comedy series created and completed owned by Lifetime. I’m sure they are taking their time to make it hilarious. In the meantime, check out this clip of Sherri Shepherd in “30 Rock”.
